DUCT AIR LEAKAGE TESTING (DALT)

A Duct Air Leakage Test (DALT) is a diagnostic assessment that measures the airtightness of Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) or industrial ductwork. This test pressurizes existing or newly install sheet metal duct to determine if it meets either Sheet Metal Industry Standards or Design Contract Specifications. Ductwork airtightness provides useful knowledge when evaluating the energy efficiency and associated energy savings for both HVAC and Industrial Systems.
